Public financing and development of transmission in California
Net-Zero California, in partnership with Clean Air Task Force, recently commissioned a financial analysis from economics firms DHInfrastructure and EE-Analysis as well as a legal and policy analysis from UC Berkeley’s Center for Law, Energy & the Environment, to evaluate the ratepayer benefits and implementation options of public approaches to financing and developing transmission infrastructure in California. These two reports, along with a policymaker summary, are provided below.
